Once you have your IPPT and turn count above, head to accuspring.com → Springs by IPPT to find the correct spring. Enter the Per Spring IPPT value, your turn count, select the spring ID size (2.625″, 3.75″, etc.), and set cycle count to 10,000–15,000 cycles.
Use High Cycle Springs
This system typically calculates 11–12 turns for 7–8 ft doors. High cycle springs give you the extra cycle life headroom to add a turn or two during fine tuning without compromising longevity.
